Research & Development was largely restricted to Government agencies and Government affiliate agencies. In last 10 years more and more Multi Nationals have set up R&D centers' in India to get the best of Indian Scientists and it is also reflecting across Indian Companies. While Organizations are partnering with best of the Indian educational Institutions, this is opening up a great opportunity for Talents most keen on R&D.

Even though companies from India, Indian or Multinational are not filing as many IP's as China or other western countries for registration, the number is on the rise. Latency among the Indian Workforce in the Innovation has been loudly challenged and there is a positive change towards R&D and Innovation across the Organizations.

Educational Institutions while have Incubating Centers within, Organizations are also incubating new ideas from employees.

Organizations have to recognize and qualify a positive approach towards committing sufficient resources for R&D and innovation for their own survival and relevance. These challenges within the Organization are just not about long term but needs to be in the foreseeable near term future. This is the huge shift Organizations are forced with. Given this, it's just not about hiring best scientists from across the globe but instilling innovation across the Organization at every level.
